Spotlight:

Progman’s Tango – Traditional Argentinian style – Music for TV/Music for Film

Guiyang Province – Traditional Chinese style with modern elements – Music for Film/Music for computer Games

Above are 2 recent examples of Mike’s work, the first, ‘Progman’s Tango’ combines elements of Tango and Jazz to create a very laid back, but mysterious and slightly sinister track. This track would be ideal for a Television scene or Film scene featuring a dark street-lit scene set in Latin America.
The track ‘Guiyang Province’ starts out a fairly typical and traditional Chinese tune and would fit in very well with a Film scene set in a rural Chinese village. The modern edge to this track, bought in at the end gives the track an original twist, making it ideal for a computer game sequence with a developing cut-scene.

With such a large media music library, it’s hard to pick out the favourite tracks to put on one page, so Mike’s show-reels have been separated into 4 genres befitting all kinds of media music, music for TV, Film music, commercial music and computer game music. These 4 genres are vast in themselves, but are also the best way of hearing specific styles of music. Below are the 4 styles to choose from.
