A very odd music brief cropped up in January. A tabletop board game company called Orange County Gaming were after a Celtic style film score track for background music within their board game. The brief asked for a lot of specifics, from the animal sound effects to the thunder and none-lyrical female vocals. These coupled with the very specific lengths, and build up points almost sounded like a brief for a film score.
As it was an open ended submission process, you could hear the competition entries and they could hear yours. This track was apparently the second choice for the client, and they have asked to licence it separately for future use.
